Location: Markham, Ontario (near 16th Avenue & McCowan Road, close to Raymerville Drive)
We recently completed a raccoon removal project on a residential clay tile roof in Markham, ON. The homeowner reported signs of animal activity in the attic. Upon inspection, we identified the entry point at the soffit-to-roof junction, a vulnerable area often raccoons. (See photos above.)
Given the clay tile roofing, which can be fragile and difficult to work with, our technician implemented a non-invasive solution using a professional-grade one-way door. This allows any animals inside to exit safely, without the ability to return.
To prevent re-entry, the area was fully reinforced with galvanized steel mesh, custom-fitted and anchored securely without damaging the tiles or siding.
