Solution and Work Performed:
To humanely evict the squirrels, our technician installed a one-way door directly over the opening in the soffit. This device allows the squirrels to exit safely but prevents them from re-entering once they’ve left the attic. This method is effective and ensures no animals are trapped inside.
In addition to the one-way door, we reinforced the area around the soffit with galvanized wire mesh, preventing future animal access through vulnerable gaps.
During the inspection, our technician also identified several potential entry points around the roofline, including loose soffit junctions and ventilation gaps. All these areas were secured with screening to ensure long-term protection against wildlife intrusions.
