In this project, we tackled a raccoon intrusion into a residential property through a damaged soffit in Markham. Our team’s approach involved a multi-step process to ensure effective exclusion. First, we installed a one-way door over the damaged soffit opening, allowing the raccoon to exit the attic but not re-enter. Once the raccoon had vacated, we carefully removed the one-way door and proceeded with repairing the soffit using durable materials. To fortify the area against future intrusions, we installed a secure screening over the repaired soffit, preventing any further access for raccoons or other wildlife. This comprehensive solution safeguarded the homeowner’s property while maintaining a humane approach to wildlife removal.
