Recently, a homeowner in Brampton, Ontario, near Chinguacousy Road and Sandalwood Parkway, reached out to us after hearing noises in their attic and suspecting raccoon activity. To safely and humanely remove the raccoon, we installed a one-way raccoon exclusion door over the entry hole. This specially designed device allows the raccoon to exit the attic naturally—usually during nighttime hours when it leaves to forage—but prevents it from re-entering the structure. After installing the one-way door, we also secured the entry point with galvanized wire mesh to ensure long-term protection and prevent future access by raccoons or other wildlife.
