Raccoon damaged soffit on a house in Mississauga

We were recently called to a home in Mississauga, near Dixie Road and Burnhamthorpe Road East, after the homeowners reported hearing strange noises coming from their attic—especially during the night.

Our wildlife technician arrived promptly and conducted a full exterior inspection of the roofline and attic vents. The entry point was quickly identified: a damaged section of the soffit, which the raccoon had used to access the attic space.

To resolve the issue, we installed a one-way door at the entry point. This device allowed the raccoon to exit safely but blocked it from getting back inside. Within just one day, the raccoon had vacated the attic, and the entry point was then secured to prevent future access.

This type of quick and effective solution is common in raccoon-prone areas like Applewood, Clarkson, and Streetsville, where homes are often near wooded spaces and parks. Check our website to learn more about our professional raccoon removal services.
