In this project, our team was tasked with repairing the extensive damage caused by a raccoon that had damaged the shingles of a residential property and nested inside the attic in Markham. The raccoon had gained access through a vulnerable opening in the roof, leading to further destruction within the attic space. Our first step was to assess the extent of the damage and conduct necessary repairs to the damaged shingles and roof structure. Once the exterior was secure, we addressed the interior by carefully removing the raccoon’s nesting materials and ensuring that the attic was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to eliminate any health hazards. To prevent the raccoon from returning, we strategically installed a one-way door over the initial opening, allowing the raccoon to exit but not re-enter. This humane approach enabled the raccoon to relocate while ensuring the property remained raccoon-free and protected from future intrusions. Finally, we reinforced the vulnerable areas of the roof to deter any potential animal intrusion, providing the homeowner with a safe and secure living environment with our raccoon removal service.
