Professional Skunk Removal in Toronto – Over 15 Years of Experience Protecting Homes and Yards

At Brilliex Pest Control, we’ve been proudly serving the Greater Toronto Area for over 15 years, providing safe, humane, and effective wildlife removal solutions. One of our recent skunk removal projects involved a homeowner in Toronto who reached out after noticing a persistent skunk odor and visible digging activity around their backyard shed. Concerned that a skunk might be nesting underneath, the client asked our team to perform a thorough inspection and recommend the best course of action.

Upon arrival, our experienced technician carefully inspected the shed and confirmed that a skunk had created an entry hole and was nesting beneath it. The technician explained the process to the homeowner, ensuring they understood each step of the removal plan. He then began by digging around the entire shed perimeter to expose the foundation area. A one-way door was installed directly over the skunk’s entry point, allowing the animal to leave safely without being able to return. To prevent future burrowing, the technician also installed a galvanized L-shaped wire mesh around the entire base of the shed, securely buried under the soil to act as a long-term barrier against re-entry.

After completing the installation, the technician levelled and compacted the soil, restoring the shed area to its original appearance. Within a short time, the skunk exited through the one-way door, and the homeowner no longer experienced any odors or digging activity. Once the skunk’s departure was confirmed, our technician returned to remove the one-way door and permanently sealed the entry point.

The homeowner was extremely pleased with the results, praising our professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to humane removal methods. With over 15 years of experience in skunk removal and other wildlife control services across Toronto, Brilliex Pest Control continues to help residents keep their properties safe, clean, and animal-free using proven, environmentally responsible techniques.
