We recently completed a successful raccoon removal project at a residential property in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The customer, located near the intersection of Elgin Mills Road and Bayview Avenue, reached out to us after noticing unusual noises coming from the attic. Our technician promptly arrived on-site and conducted a thorough inspection of the home, including areas around the roof and soffits. The property, situated near streets like Boake Trail, Neal Drive, and Sussex Avenue, showed clear signs of raccoon activity. Upon inspection, we identified the main entry point the raccoon had been using to access the attic space.
To resolve the issue, our technician installed a humane one-way door over the entry point, which allows the raccoon to exit safely but prevents re-entry. This method is highly effective and ensures the animal is removed without harm. To prevent future invasions, we reinforced the surrounding area with heavy-duty galvanized wire mesh, securely fastened to all potential weak spots around the roofline and vents. The customer was very satisfied with the quick response and professional service and now enjoys peace of mind knowing their home is raccoon-free and well-protected.
