Recently, our team was called for a bat removal project in Newmarket, near Mulock Drive and Leslie Street. The homeowner contacted us after finding a bat flying inside their living room late at night. Understandably, they were frightened and wanted professional help to ensure their home was safe again. With over 15 years of experience in wildlife removal and pest control, we responded quickly to assess and resolve the situation.
Upon arrival, our licensed technician conducted a thorough inspection of both the interior and exterior of the home. It was determined that the bat had entered through a small gap along the roofline near a vent. To safely and humanely remove the bat colony’s potential access point, the technician installed a one-way door over the main entry hole, allowing any remaining bats to exit but preventing them from re-entering.
After securing the one-way door, our team carefully sealed all other small openings and gaps with silicone, ensuring the home was fully bat proofed. The client was relieved to have peace of mind knowing that no bats could return.
